Oyinlomo Quadri, Imeh Joseph Emerge Champions of 2020 CBN Tennis Open Tourney By Niyi Busari The CBN Tennis Open Championship ended on Saturday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium with Oyinlomo Quadri defeating MaryLove Edwards 6-0, 6-0 in the Female Singles final, BSNSports.com.ng can report. Imeh Joseph who was last year's semi-finalist and tournament's seed number 2 also defeated Maduekwe Nonso 6-3, 3-1in the Men's Single final. The Men's final game was cut short when Nonso sustained an injury. The combined effort of Oyinlomo Quadre and Serena Teluwo overpowered Omolayo Bamidele and Jesutoyosi Adeusi 6-2, 6-4 in the women’s doubles final. Meanwhile, in the men’s singles Wheelchair final Alex Adewale beat Wasiu Yusuf 6-1, 6-2 to win the CBN Tennis Open for the eight consecutive year, as Chituru Nwaozuzu defeated Kafayat Omisore 6-2, 2-6, 10-6 to lift the Women's single title for the first time.
